We are currently searching for a General Managers to add our leadership team, specifically for our Meet Edgar and Cross Sell teams. We are looking to fill this position in Canada. It was designed to make it easier than ever for marketers to share their best evergreen content on social. Today it helps thousands manage their social channels to build their online brand.
About Cross Sell Cross Sell is rated as the #1 app for automated product recommendations that personalize recommendations or related items alongside each product in an e-commerce store. A client has the ability to precisely choose which complementary products are shown alongside a specific item. Cross Sells can be handpicked manually or assigned based on sales history, orders, collections, or Smart Recommendations.
Your Daily Challenges
As General Manager, (GM) your primary focus is on business operations, and leading and growing a SaaS business. It is both an exciting and challenging prospect! You will need to use your prioritization skills and keen business understanding to develop and implement strategies that will bolster business and revenue growth. Don’t worry, you won’t do this alone, you will be surrounded by a talented team who will be there to support you.
Once you get settled in and learn more about the business and team, your day-to-day activities as a GM will look something like this:
- Lead the team and business in profitable growth; shape and develop growing revenues and profits
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and expand the customer base
- Develop and implement marketing-led growth and strategies to achieve revenue targets, monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed
- Develop strategies to engage clients, increase customer loyalty, and retain key accounts
- Lead the ideation, planning, and implementation of new and long-term business growth strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set and drive overall business vision, strategy, and decision-making to achieve business goals and drive growth
- Set business goals and execute the achievement of KPIs for those goals
- Manage budgets and forecasts and create and deploy metrics to enforce operational efficiency
- Monitor expenses, implement cost-saving measures, and manage efficient allocation of resources to ensure financial targets are met
- Champion culture at the business unit to support organizational morale and momentum
- Lead the people and resourcing strategy supported by other stakeholders
- Regularly partner and collaborate with the SureSwift Capital executive and corporate teams
Your Experience
We are seeking a leader who has operational knowledge and hands-on experience working in SaaS, with a proven track record in marketing. We’ve listed what we are looking for in ideal applicants below. - You’ve spent 3-5 years in the tech industry
- SaaS Experience in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing effective marketing strategies to drive brand growth and meet business objectives
- Financial acumen with previous P&L ownership experience
- Thorough understanding of metrics and people, and knowing you need both for success
- Technical proficiency with the ability to lead product roadmap and growth
- Ability to manage and mitigate risk
- Understand how to lead in a remote environment
Your Compensation
This role will be based in Canada. We are a remote-first company and also offer an office space located in downtown Victoria, BC, for those who are local and prefer to work in an office setting.
